To honour the spirit of womanhood, salute their courage, celebrate their success and to spread awareness, International Women’s Day was celebrated on 08 Mar 21. A Webinars on the occasion was organized at HQ ARTRAC and Cat A Establishments to celebrate the Women’s Day and highlight the accomplishments of women through lectures and talks by women achievers.
ARTRAC AWWA, celebrated the 55th AWWA Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Various competitions were held for the same and achievers were felicitated on this occasion.

55th AWWA Week 2021 was celebrated from 17th August to 23rd August 2021 observing all COVID precautions. All the activities were conducted using digital platform obviating the need for any social gathering. Mrs Manjari Shukla, Regional President, ARTRAC AWWA , has been deeply involved in education related aspects and the administrative functioning of ARTRAC Primary School at Summer Hill, Shimla. She visited the School on 25 Jun 2020.
Paper Recycling Plant is being operated by two JCO /OR wives of HQ ARTRAC. All wastepaper generated by different branches of HQ ARTRAC is converted to usable eco friendly products. Items such as Carry Bags, Wine Bags, Envelopes and Greeting Card Sheets are made using the recycled paper. Mrs Manjari Shukla, Regional President, ARTRAC AWWA visited VTC on 25 Jun 2020.
Mr Arun Soni, Director TCCS (Consultancy Service Provider), Cyber Security Trainer conducted a Webinar on Cyber Security and Information Protection on 15 July 2020 for ladies of ARTRAC.
29 Veer Naris were presented gifts comprising of shawls and saris. The gifts to outstation Veer Naris were delivered through the Army Postal Service and India Post facilities.
Our families and COVID warriors located all across the country, voluntarily came forward and assisted healthcare workers. The selfless warriors while fighting the dreaded virus had to cut themselves off from their families and loved ones and made huge sacrifice for the safety and welfare of one of us.
Going green is a great way to reduce our environmental footprint and help the planet. Our families are switching to home gardening which is good for our health and wellbeing and it also prevents unnecessary chemicals from being released into the environment.
In order to overcome the problems generated due to COVID 19 conditions, our families are being provided with all the assistance at their doorstep to include supply of dry and fresh rations, fruits and vegetables.
Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that has its roots in India. International Yoga Day was celebrated by our families with great vigour and enthusiasm on 21 June 2020.
At all locations of ARTRAC families, a massive door to door awareness programme was launched with a special focus on spreading the awareness about symptoms of COVID 19, safety precautions against the virus and it’s treatment.
Mode of education has changed drastically during the lockdown with a considerable rise of online education being adopted for our children whereby teaching is executed remotely and on digital platforms.
Mrs Manjari Shukla, Regional President, ARTRAC AWWA has been deeply involved in functioning of AWWA activities of various Training Establishments amid the pandemic and visited a number of Cat ‘A’ Establishments.

Awarding of Educational Scholarships to Students of APS at CME, Pune
Outreach programmes provide an opportunity to give love, care, affection & attention to the needy people of the society. ARTRAC and several Cat ‘A’ Establishments have come forward to provide necessary assistance to various NGOs and Orphanage homes in terms of clothes, stationary, eatables, shelter to underprivileged women, etc.

A webinar on “Stress Management” was conducted by Mrs Pooja Bedi on 03 Feb 21 for ladies and families of ARTRAC. The main theme of the webinar was Good Parenting Tips and Time Management.
Identification and Reduction Of Sources of Stress
Organized at Army Heritage Museum, Annadale on 16 Dec 20 in recognition of the services and sacrifices of our gallant warriors. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Jai Ram Thakur and Revenue and Sainik Welfare Minister Shri Mahender Singh Thakur were Guests of Honour. E-inauguration of CSD extension counters for ex-serviceman at Sundar Nagar, District Mandi and Jhandutta, District Bilaspur was also carried out.
