The story takes place in pre-independence era when YOL was a POW camp in Himachal Pradesh housing Italian and Japanese soldier. This is a beautiful story of friendship between a 7 year old girl and an Italian POW and her experiences being a nanny to two British officers children. It's heartwarming , touching and flushed with the beautiful history of the cantt. 

I, Mrs.Vineeta Devadas w/o Colonel Devadas P.(Retired) have been working with children with Special Needs and also have international experience as well. Recently started my own writing blog, hence would like to share my articles with Army fraternity. We are currently based in Trivandrum,Kerala State.

This is Mrs. Kajal Upadhyay . I have done master in the field of Anthropology and having good research experience in medical and social anthropology. Besides my research paper, article and reports i used to write poems and articles related to social life.

Who Am I? 

I am a woman of words who desires to live the happiest and humble life possible with a touch of adventure and with a taste of escapades. My three years tenure in NCC equipped me to be the woman whom I dreamt to be once. I swipe my card and select my shoes. I am a language trainer, owning an online academy, who feels that language is an art of mind and heart. Eventually, I guide students for IELTS and TOFEL. Also, my pupils are Banking and SSB aspirants for whom English comes as a hurdle. Besides, I edify kids to excel in creative writing and script writing to be self-dependent orators. I proudly teach homemakers who try to find their path back. I believe in the Emergence of New Womanhood that accepting biological differences and admiring them would uplift us to empower ourselves. To mention about my educational qualification, I hold a degree in Master of Philosophy, English. And, I published a poetry book  in my regional language when I was an undergraduate student. Simply, I am an ordinary Indian woman who explores every oppertunity to live life to its fullest. 

Dr Ashwini Sirapanasetty Karache is Obstetrics and Gynaecologist Surgeon acurrently residing in New Delhi.

She is a nature enthusiast and believes in thought of “Harnessing the Humankind with Nature”. She is a woman reformist and had organised many medical camps in remotest parts of Maharashtra serving the tribal women to encourage them for Contraceptives and Family Planning. Her Contribution to these true sentinels of the Nature is her choice and always believed in her values of service for mankind.

Her works in the professional field as brought her laurels and awards like “International Best Researcher Award in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology” and her recent article on “Abortion Rights” have created a thought in many people. Her diversity in the medical field and also as a wife of a Uniformed Officer created limitless boundaries to think, assimilate and write.

Janardhanan is a Family Medicine Specialist, popular writer of Kerala and

also an Akashvani (All India Radio) and Doordarshan approved artist of

Ghazals and Bhajans. She is felicitated with many National Level Awards

for her Social service and contributions towards society as a Doctor,

Singer, Writer and Army Officer

I am the wife of Captain Akhilesh Saxena. My husband participated in three attacks in the Kargil war; Tololing, Hump and Three Pimples and got severely injured in the last attack. He was an artillery officer fighting with an infantry unit - 2Rajputana Rifles as the Forward observation officer.

I am the founder and CEO of Inspiring Mantras. I have established Inspiring Mantras with a vision to bring transformation into the view, thinking process, and actions of our countrymen. Being the wife of a disabled Kargil war veteran, I have suffered the consequences and wounds of the Kargil war, understand the sacrifices and pain which Indian soldiers go through during their lives. 

My passion to spread awareness for the welfare of Indian soldiers and their families has turned me into a writer and poet. I was fortunate to get my poem and article published in the reputed magazine of Indian Army–‘Sammaan’. Other than this, all the content of the website, blogs and social media posts of ‘Inspiring Mantras’ are my original creations.

I am  from a totally Army background. My father, father in law and husband have all served in the army. I am an MBA and B Ed and have taught from KG to PG classes depending on the postings of my husband.

I have been writing fiction and non fiction for the last two decades. My articles have been regularly published in newspapers like The Tribune andDaily Excelsior and magazines which include Woman’s Era and Alive. 

A  Rainbow Of Words, is my first book   and  is a collection of Short Stories interspersed with quotations, small poems and anecdotes . The incidents, characters and settings of the book are highly relatable and carry an undertone of positivity in times of hardships. The book is sure to leave the reader a little more inclined to be happy and joyous even in face of adversities of life.

Writing is my passion and while travelling across the country courtesy the OG life, i have written for various institutional magazines and conceptualised, scripted as well as anchored several high profile stage shows. A college level Mathematics Instructor by training and experience, I am also a soft skills trainer, an ameteur photographer and now a blogger and a freelancer.

My articles have featured on the popular Parentcircle page while I have dabbled with content writing for various projects in the past few months. My most recent commissioned work has been the translation of "the Shiva Shakti talks" book. i share a few links underneath.
