I am Ekta Bhatnagar, a freelance content creator and mom to two little girls. Writing has always been a passion and I love creating stories. The idea of writing a book came when I started thinking about career options due to my husband's job. As I was working with Motion Comics, I realised that I enjoy writing for children. Children love fantasy, fiction, something that is unimaginable but in their world everything is possible. Thus, I wrote two books for children and they have been loved by them. 

Anisha Kotibhaskar, an artist, a writer and a trained teacher, loves to explore new fields of creativity. With motherhood, she found her next calling – storytelling. While weaving stories and creating playful art for her daughter, Anisha was inspired to use art to bring alive the amusing world of childhood.

Her first illustrated book “Catch of Day and Other Sibling Stories” is a witty take on siblinghood. Her hand-painted illustrations are poetic, and so are the stories.

My name is Aradhana Verma and I love my name. My mother used to say that my father had given me this name and I used to be happy knowing this. Since childhood, I grew up very pampered with grandmother and grandfather, perhaps even my children would not have found so much love as I did. I was born in Varanasi. Today I am compelled to say that as soft as my childhood was, every moment of my youth was full of thorns, sandy and hard. I don't know how it doesn't take a minute to change a person. So quickly, even the chameleon does not fill its color. As much as these so-called relationships found in the guise of themselves go by change. Is love, affection, respect, everything sold in the market? Do those who pretend to be rich eat coins and money? In fact, I do not have any pain, I have no complaints with anyone. We used to imagine ourselves to be heaven in the service of elders, but maybe everything is sold..... Don't measure. Here everything from pain to laughter is fake. मेरा नाम आराधना वर्मा है।‌‌‌‌‌‌मैं एक होममेकर हूं। मुझे बचपन से ही संगीत आकर्षित करता रहा है। मैं स्कूल से लेकर कालेज स्तर पर लिखा करती थी। शादी के बाद भी मैंने प्रयास किया और प्रत्येक यूनिट में आर्टिकल , कविता, स्किट, लेक्चर , गीत आदि लिखा,जिसे काफी सराहा भी गया। मेरी ये दोनों किताबें हिंदी भाषा में हैं।

मैंने भी.एड. करने के दौरान ही अपनी पहली किताब "गुजरते लम्हें" की छवि तैयार कर ली थी। "गुजरते लम्हें " जिंदगी को बेहतर संबल से आह्लादित करने की पावन चेष्टा है। यह किताब वर्ष २०१६ में प्रकाशित हुई।

"हार गया मेरा मन "लिखने की कोशिश मैंने उस समय की जब पूरा विश्व कोविड -१९ की गंभीर हालत से जूझ रहा था। मैं भी इस बीच इस जानलेवा बीमारी के सम्पर्क में आ गई थी लेकिन मेरी कलम मेरी अभिव्यक्ति बनी और डॉ, दवाइयों तथा परिवार के सकारात्मक ऊर्जा से मैं स्वस्थ भी हो गई। यह किताब इसी वर्ष मई २०२२ में  ब्लू रोज़ पब्लिकेशन द्वारा प्रकाशित हुई है । "हार गया मेरा मन " फ़ौजी जीवन के विडंबना के साथ ही अपने आप में एक खूबसूरत सी मनःस्थिति को जीवन भर के लिए जीतने की शुरुआत है। इस किताब में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति ,बचपन से लेकर युवा वर्ग एवं हम सभी के आदर्श, बुजुर्ग पीढ़ी सभी के लिए कुछ तो है। आप सभी को मेरे लेखनी के माध्यम से अपने घर को मन से स्वीकार कर रही, धरती को जीवन से सींचने वाले अनगिनत आंखों की पावन सी मनःस्थिति के पुनः प्रणाम।

Like a true blue army wife  I don many hats! An author, a poet, a facilitator for Screentime snd Cybersafety workshops for students and parents, and an elearning specialist.

In addition to the books already published, I have written 2 ebooks during the pandemic - the first, 'Marvellous Rhymes for children about the Wild' received a huge response and is now in the process of getting published; the second ebook called 'Spilling Silence' is a collection of poems that looks at the world around and says the unsaid.

More recently, I have launched Captain Green, a venture to connect children to Nature through specially designed learning resources.

Mridula was born in the Ballia district of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. After completing her early education at Holy Cross School, she did her higher education at Varanasi and Allahabad. She has been working as a Creative Graphic and Content Developer.

Navneet Grewal is a psychology graduate and a qualified high school language teacher and social sciences teacher. Having taught for six years now is pursuing her hobby to write poetry and  stories. A third generation into the fauji holds she has learned so much from her travels in India and abroad and has tried to inculcate this heady mix of cultures,experiences and customs in her writings. She alongwith her teenage daughter who is a writer too have launched their maiden poetry book by the name of

Savage Lemonade is an amalgamation of self-realization and self- recognition which evolved as a tangent in my life depicting certain realities and notions of the world. It’s a pen picture of the brutal truths of the bad fat world which most of the times we like to ignore on purpose. Whenever life throws lemon at us, we fail terribly, feeling lost, depressed and heartbroken. The fact is that all these lemons are the main ingredients or challenges on our path/ life purpose that has been set by the universe only to make us strong and empower us so that we persuade and inspire ourselves and  our fellow beings also to follow their life purpose. It’s about my journey of how my angels through all the emotional hardships guided me to stand up for myself and voice my beliefs and opinions and motivated me to make a life changing decision that was to live my life on my terms. Savage Lemonade is my spiritual journey of Becoming.

Home Run

Through the pages of Home Run, the reader engages with four different people and the emotional upheavals they encounter, as each one stoically shoulders an individual cross. The lives of the four protagonists engage and disengage as they embark on the mystical journey called life. Separated by miles of age and background, the one thing that binds the four in a thread of commonality is their burning desire to take control of their journey and find a harbour of their own making.

Though a work of fiction, Home Run is deeply rooted in life. The characters are inspired by people who could be your next-door neighbours and I hope the incidents just might strike a chord of familiarity from bygone days.

I am indebted to my sojourn with the olives which has given me first-hand experience of the beautiful hills which form the backdrop of the story and my association with the Indian Army surfaces time and again through the narrative.

A Handful of Dewdrops is a collection of poems which were inspired by some moments in time which left a deep imprint on me. These not so uncommon, everyday experiences took the shape of verse and I hope this collection will find an echo of familiarity in your hearts as well. Looking forward to your feedback on:
