Black Elephant ASHA School was established at Patiala on 02 Jul 2001 as a welfare measure for education of special children. The school made a humble beginning with only a few children and with moderate teaching aids. The school has since then achieved many milestones, including rehabilitation of students and winning medals in Special Olympics. Presently, there are 37 students. The school is managed by the AWWA Managing Committee. The school has a strong competent team of 10 pers running the institution.
