An MoU has been signed between AWWA and Oberoi Group.
Highlights of the MoU:-
1. Direct Recruitment Opportunities for Veer Naris:
10 vacancies will be reserved for Veer Naris of Indian Army in Oberoi Hotels in departments like Housekeeping and Guest Relations across India, specifically at locations where they have hotels.
2. Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP):
Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) will reserve a maximum vacancy of 8 seats for the wards of Veer Naris of Indian Army and Serving and Retired Officers/JCOs/ORs. This is a fully funded training programme aimed at graduates of Class XII, aged 18-20 years. These admissions are subject to the candidate qualifying the selection criteria of The Oberoi Group.
3. Management Training Programmes:
OCLD will reserve up to 2 seats in its four world-class and highly structured training programmes for graduates for wards of Veer Naris of Indian Army and Serving and Retired Officers/JCOs/OR. These admissions are subject to candidates qualifying the selection criteria of The Oberoi Group. After successful completion of the programme, the student/associate will be placed as an ‘executive’ across various hotels of The Oberoi Group.
