About Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur
- Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur holds a Master of Philosopy (M. Phil) in Political Science from Punjab University, Patiala. A Seasoned professional educationist, she dedicated 22 years to the Punjab Government, serving as a lecturer and Principal at the Government Senior Secondary School. Her significant contributions to the welfare of underprivileged children has left a lasting impact, establishing her as a distinguished figure in the field of education.
- Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur has been actively involved in social and welfare activities under the auspices of AWWA. She has led various initiatives as Secretary of AWWA at IMTRAT Bhutan, Kharga Corps, Ambala and as Regional Vice President AWWA, Western Command, Chandimandir. As Chairperson of BISON Division AWWA, she established the ASHA Kiran Classroom at BAPPS Bolarum in Secunderabad, providing facilities for children with learning difficulties under the age of six.
- Her substantial contributions to the infrastructure development of ASHA Schools in Kargil and Secunderabad have greatly benefited specially-abled children, opening new avenues for their education and development. As Zonal President AWWA, White Knight Corps, Nagrota and Chairperson of Special Projects, AWWA, she undertook numerous initiatives in the field of education and welfare of families. In her most recent role as Regional President AWWA at HQ ARTRAC, Shimla she championed programs aimed at empowering families through the use of modren technology and social media.
- Gen and Mrs Manjinder are blessed with two children. Their daughter Amanat Boparai holds a Postgraduate degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and is presently working as MisInfo Lead, Youtube India with Google. She is married and resides in Hyderabad. Their son, Armaan Singh Boparai, a commerce graduate from Delhi University with a Master's degree from Symbiosis Business School, Pune is working as a Business Development Manager at Gartner.
