As more women enter the entrepreneurial world, there is a growing recognition of the value and importance of their contributions to the economy and society as a whole.

Handicraft Mela
Gudi Padwa, the Maharashtrian New Year, is a time for celebration and renewal. In 2023, a Handicraft Mela was organized by a group of women entrepreneurs to showcase the rich tradition of Indian handicrafts. This event provides an opportunity for artisans, particularly women, to display and sell their handcrafted products, including textiles, jewellery, pottery, and woodwork. The Mela promotes the preservation of traditional crafts and provides a platform for these skilled artisans to share their talents with the world. It also highlights the importance of supporting women-owned businesses and the economic empowerment of women.
