ASHA School, Prayagraj located in the Old Cantonment was established on 07 October 1992 as a rehabilitation centre for differently abled children. The objective of this school is to equip these children with the requisite skills to navigate the complexities of life with minimal assistance through education, therapeutic training and honing of pre vocational skills, thereby contributing towards social upliftment of the country.

• Management. The responsibility to run the school remain with HQ 4 Infantry Division. The School has a Managing Committee headed by General Officer Commanding, 4 Infantry Division. The school is registered with Directorate of Social Welfare, Uttar Pradesh.


• Criteria. Children of Defence personnel, ex-servicemen and civilians of the age group of 05 to 18 years who are disabled due to Impaired Hearing, Mental and Psychological disorders and Physically Handicapped are given admission.
