Heartiest greetings to all from the Surya AWWA family. Surya AWWA remains steadfast in its indefatigable efforts to touch the lives of AWWA beneficiaries and make a difference, true to the AWWA motto of ASHA, WISHWAS and AASTHA. Surya AWWA is dedicated to supporting the wellness and happiness of our families, recognizing that a women’s health and happiness has a profound impact on the wellbeing of her family, the success of our soldier, and prosperity of our nation.
The Veer Naris, Widows and their wards reside in our heart and we have left no stone unturned to reach out to them. We at Surya Command are dedicated to providing a robust support network for our Veer Naris, encompassing healthcare access and educational opportunities. Our “Panchul Veernari Awas” at Pithoragarh and Srinagesh Veer Naris AWAS at KRC, Ranikhet are well managed and fully subscribed hostels which serve as a beacon of empowerment for these courageous women, offering a safe and nurturing environment to rebuild their lives.
Empowering our families and enhancing their skills for self-reliance and financial independence is one of our focus areas. To achieve this goal we at Surya Command are actively engaged in conducting a variety of skill development courses under the ages of PMKVY 4.0 at our well established ASTCs at Lucknow, Bareilly, Agra, Jabalpur and Roorkee to include Beauty Therapist, Data Entry Operator, Hairdresser and Stylist and Self-Employed Tailoring. The enthusiastic response to these courses from our AWWA community is a testament to our shared vision of fostering financial independence and self-sufficiency.
Health care management is a key priority for us. We at Surya Command are committed to promoting and developing high quality medical services. The recent award of “Second Best” hospital of the armed forces medical services for the year 2022 by DGAFMS to Command Hospital, Lucknow and inauguration of newly established EIC at MH Jabalpur are testaments to this commitment. Additionally introducing state of art equipment such as Femtosecond Lasik Equipment, ESWL Lithotripsy machine for treating kidney stones without surgery, a Mammography centre at Command Hospital, Lucknow and Helium Free Tesla MRI machine at MH, Jabalpur will also undoubtedly contribute to delivering top-notch health care services and better treatment outcomes for the patients.
Our children with special needs in Asha Schools, APSs and APPSs are always close to our hearts. The wellbeing and development of these children remain our primary concern. We understand that a conducive learning environment, backed by proper infrastructure and specialized resources, is vital for their growth. Towards this end we have recently upgraded the facilities at Asha School Meerut, Agra, Jabalpur and Lucknow thereby creating a more supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures their emotional, therapeutic, and educational journey.
I wish you all good health and abundant joy. May every thought and action be tempered by your wisdom and positivity.
