ASHA SCHOOL : LUCKNOW
1. The school was established at AMC Centre and College, Lucknow, with just four students on 10th July 1989. The school got affiliated to AWWA in 1992. Thereafter, ASHA School shifted to its new location at Bahadur Shah Marg on 11th Oct 2025. The management committee was then taken over by Engrs Branch from Med Branch on Dec 2016. While working continuously on the set curriculum the school, along with its educational approach, makes extensive use of Special Teaching Aids, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Therapies and Vocational Training. The school also keeps its Special Educators updated with the recent changes brought to the Education system and opens all avenues to implement the same at school level.
2. The registration was done with registrar of societies with effect from June 1998. The school also became part of MoSJE with effect from July 20214 vide NGO ID UP/00004036. Also, with NITI AAYOG with effect from Sep 2018 as ASHA Vidyalaya Samiti vide unique ID UP/2018/0189848
